What does a Booked Hire really mean?
When you do ride share for companies such as Uber, Ola and the like, you are required to register your vehicle as Booked Hire.
This means that you are taking a fare for driving passengers.
The regulation requires you to have a yearly inspection called a CL COI.
Therefore allowing you to renew your registration each year as Booked Hire.
CL COI’s are required for all vehicles that are registered for booked hire.

The Inspection is similar to a Safety Certificate. It is a basic check that the vehicle is safe to be on the road.
However, keeping your down time to a minimum we have a mobile service available.

Firstly, The inspection itself takes 30-45 minutes.
Secondly, An online certificate is lodged with Queensland Transport and a copy emailed to you.
Lastly, once the valid CL COI is issued you will be able to renew or register the vehicle for booked hire.
