When you are purchasing a vehicle you may want to run a Car History check first.
The reason being that there are any things that you won’t be able to tell without it.
All you need is a VIN number of the vehicle and the history of the vehicle (Cars, bikes and trucks) is yours to discover.
There are 2 major parts of the report that you get the most value from.
Is the car a repairable write off?
So what does it mean if it is?
Don’t get me wrong, a car can be a repairable write off, fixed properly and still be a great car.
However, you may want to have someone check the work has been completed properly.
Especially if they have caused other issues that we not fixed.
Most importantly though is that finance companies will not give you finance for written off vehicles.
If you are financing the vehicle this report can save you a lot of time.
Another important section of the report is if there is finance owing.
A finance company can repossess a car that has finance owing from you even if you paid the seller in full.
